Biography
My name is Dr. Ankeet A. Choxi, MD and I am a double-board certified Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Management Physician. I completed medical school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, followed by Anesthesiology training at the University of Miami and Pain Management fellowship training at New York University (NYU)--Langone Health. I specialize in interventional pain management with a focus on regenerative medicine for pain control and restoration of function. By utilizing natural ortho-biologics such as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Stem Cells, I am able to restore form and functionality for patients while avoiding invasive surgical procedures. I strongly believe in harnessing the body’s ability to heal naturally for improved quality of life and pain-free activity. I am an expert in treating spine, joint, and musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. Medical conditions I treat include low back and neck pain (herniated discs, sciatica, facet joints, SI joints), arthritis and joint degeneration, shoulder rotator cuff and labral injury, knee tendon and ligament injury, and many more musculoskeletal injuries.
