Biography
Dr. Luz Andreone is an early-career scientist leading research at the Laboratory of Immuno-Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her work investigates the mechanisms of stress and dysfunction of β-cells in diabetes, with the goal of identifying novel therapeutic targets. As an Assistant Researcher at CONICET and Assistant Professor at Austral University, she balances research leadership with academic responsibilities. She has secured competitive research grants from both public and private institutions in Argentina, enabling her to develop independent research while mentoring PhD fellows.
