Biography

Dr. Miura's scientific research focuses on neonatal health and development. His studies on motor and functional outcomes in children born with congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) are particularly noteworthy. These studies investigate school-age motor function and its relationship to perinatal factors in children with CDH. He has also participated in the SHIELD study, which evaluated the safety and tolerability of Muse cell-based stem cell therapy in neonates diagnosed with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE).
