Biography

Dr. Yamamoto is a professor of neurosurgery at the University of Toyama in Japan. Having worked in various fields of neurosurgery, Dr. Yamamoto has conducted numerous scientific studies, particularly on moyamoya disease and brain surgery. His research on cerebrovascular diseases and contributions to brain microcirculation are especially noteworthy. One of Dr. Yamamoto's significant research areas focuses on cauda equina syndrome resulting from traumatic spinal cord injuries. He has also investigated cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) gas tensions and pH levels to examine the effects of surgical interventions on brain microcirculation.
